No, I ... I could never follow . . .
It's been two long years now, since the top of the world came crashing down ... and I'm getting it back on the road now ... but I'm taking the long way, taking the long way around. I'll just take my time, I won't lay down and take the long way around ... I fought with a stranger and I met myself, I opened my mouth and I heard myself. It can get pretty lonely when you show yourself, guess I could have made it easier on myself ... but I ... I could never follow. No I ... I could never follow ... I never seem to do it like anybody else. Maybe someday, someday I'm gonna settle down.
If you ever want to find me I can still be found ... taking the long way around. -the Dixie Chicks

Waiting patiently for processing of work visa.

I finished my student teaching practicum on Friday and have workshops at the University this week. We finish on Friday! My visa documents arrived in Seoul at the school (hogwan as they are called in Korea) that I hope to teach at this morning. I wait patiently to hear that everything is in order for "step 1" in the processing of my work visa.

I have much to do in preparation of moving around the world. First and foremost is seeing friends and family that I will miss the most. This still feels unreal ... and I suspect it will until I have the work visa in my passport.

I met someone from teacher's college today who will be working an hour south of Seoul, while I will be working an hour north. It will be nice to "know" someone!

My plan is to "post" regularly, but don't know how frequently that will be once I am in S.Korea and teaching. Before I depart I must master all the the quirks of webloggin ... or should I use the current day lingo ... "blogging"!!
